Baby girl Becerril number two is on the way and I’m so so excited! I’ve had the best time watching Anabella grow up and teaching her a thing or two. Now to see another precious baby and watch the two of them interact is going to be the best thing ever! My sister is glowing in these photos and I’m pretty sure baby is too. I can’t wait to show her the photos that auntie took of her beautiful mommy.
Where has the time gone? I remember driving from Las Vegas where I was living at the time and surprising my sister at the hospital like it was yesterday. My heart was so full that day. To see this little being grow and change these last two years has been a true miracle of life! I’m so excited I was able to capture this moment. She has so much energy that documenting it involves a full body work out consisting of sprinting, squatting, crouching, bending, running, lunging and lots more. I think she stood still for about two minutes during this photo shoot before I began my workout! In the end it’s always so rewarding looking back and seeing these precious moments.
Halloween is around the corner and I can’t even express how excited I am about these photos! I’ve never been too passionate about Halloween (just the candy to be completely honest) but when you add in models, hair, makeup, and stunning dresses, you have my attention. I was so excited to work on this shoot and Missy and Danielle did such a great job. These ladies are normally all smiles in front of the camera, which I love, but this shoot called for something a little different and they nailed it! Head over to Sapphire Diaries and DKW Styling for outfit details.

Happy Monday! It’s been a while since I’ve posted, so I thought this would be a productive way to start the week. I was so excited to meet Missy from Sapphire Diaries after she contacted me. I knew her photos would turn out absolutely stunning, because…well…as you’ll see, she is stunning! I really felt like I was working with a top model! I just loved every outfit and the way she styles everything makes you want to purchase every single piece!
Given that it’s almost October I should’ve been a little worried about doing an outdoor newborn photo shoot. I should’ve been worrying about whether or not it would be too cold or windy outside. But no no no, we’re in Southern California and it’s still 90 plus degrees outside! Needless to say, at sunset it was the perfect temperature for baby boy Hafta. He made himself nice and comfy in the little nest I put together. I’d been searching for the perfect piece to incorporate into his session and I finally found this gorgeous nest while antique shopping. This sweet baby boy just melts my heart! Congratulations Ana and Alex!
When I first spoke to Lydia from Jetting Jewels I just knew she would be a pleasure to work with. She was so sweet in the emails we exchanged and full of positive energy. We had the opportunity to chat a bit during out first session over the most refreshing iced tea! It was probably 100 degrees in Southern California that day so we took the opportunity to cool off and get acquainted. Lydia was so empowering, supportive, and uplifting during our chat. After every blogger session I think to myself how lucky I am to be working with such positive woman. I look forward to many more sessions with Lydia!
Ciera, the beauty behind World Wide Stylista is such a great role model for young women. I was so surprised to find out that at 20 years old she works, goes to school, and blogs! As if work and school aren’t enough, she manages to fit in her blog! She has so much love and passion for fashion and her blog, she makes it all seem so effortless. Yet another true OC blogger beauty that I absolutely love working with!
Cassydy and I have been trying to schedule a photo shoot for a while now. First it was the rain, then it was the cold I caught, but we finally got to meet last week and I’m so excited to share these photos. We clicked from the second we met! Cassydy is honestly one of the most genuine people I’ve ever met and I don’t think she has a mean bone in her body. She’s so full of life, it’s contagious. If you’re not following her fashion account already, make sure you search @wewonderandwander on Instagram now! Classic, timeless beauty. I’m so glad I got to photograph her!
When Ana contacted me about her maternity session she knew right away that she wanted to include her doggies. I started thinking of cute ideas to incorporate them into the photos but as soon as we started the session I realized the best idea was to just let them be themselves and explore. I was a little nervous, thinking we wouldn’t get enough good shots with them, but I was pleasantly surprised at how natural everything was! It was so lovely to see Ana and her husband interact with the pups and the love those two cuties have for their mommy is so precious.
There’s something so special about maternity sessions. Not only do I get to capture the beauty of maternity, but if you think about it I get to take the baby’s first family photo! This was such a great evening with the sweetest family; they even let me take them on a little hike to explore this beautiful location. Their son Bradley was so great and such a sport. If I ever have a little boy, I hope he loves me as much as Bradley loves his mommy. Seeing them interact was the sweetest thing!
I had the opportunity this past week to work with Lindsey from Stay Styled blog, and let me tell you, she makes my job so much easier! She was such a natural in front of the camera and the outfits she picked out were so perfect for these warm summer nights. Lindsey was born and raised in California so we decided to take some photos at beautiful Dana Point Harbor, one of her favorite places. Lindsey has a glow to her in these photos, maybe because she’s saying I do to her sweetheart this November!!! What an exciting time!
Lindsey is very active in the Orange County fashion blogger community and you can really see her passion for it! She’s always writing new content and sharing her amazing style. I really loved working with Lindsey, so personable and kind from the first email we exchanged. A true California sweetheart!
I am beyond excited to share these photos with you. I had an idea of what I wanted this photo shoot to look like and we were beyond amazed at how beautiful the location, evening, and sunset turned out to be. Emmy’s true beauty really shows in these photos. Humble, gracious, intelligent, selfless, feminine, elegant, adventurous, and full of life! Because Emmy is also trilingual and speaks French, I’ve included an excerpt from Victor Hugo’s poem, Soleils Couchants (Setting Sun). My husband and I recently found a 1935 French Lyrics of the Nineteenth Century book at an antique shop and of course I had to have it. Turns out I found the perfect piece to share from this lovely book. After all, we all love sunsets and as a photographer I now appreciate its beautiful golden light more than I ever thought possible.

Beautiful family, beautiful evening! We chose a park right by their house for this shoot and it turned out just lovely. The star of the show, their adorable son! So much personality and energy at such a young age. I hope he looks back at these photos one day and remembers how much fun we had with those bubbles!
I had the pleasure of photographing my childhood friend Giulia Nahmany last week. As if Giulia’s beauty isn’t enough to capture your attention, she’s also an amazing actress and dedicated entrepreneur. She recently starred in Love by Design alongside the talented Jane Seymour. My husband and I visited Europe for a month and there was no way I was letting this opportunity pass me by! We arranged to have the shoot on the Palatul Bragadiru grounds in the heart of Bucharest. This breathtaking event venue was perfect!
For the first part of the photoshoot Giulia wore some stunning traditional Romanian blouses by Iiana. I’ve been seeing them lately on the runway and on celebrities all around!
